Stop-motion testing

After watching the OKGO video's we decided that we would really like to use stop-motion some where within our music promo and we thought it would also work really well with the genre and song. So to see whether it was possible or not we did a few testers. The first video myself and Lucy did the macarena but this proved difficult and when we put the footage onto the mac to view we realised there was a few issues with it. The camera we used had burts/sport mode which meant it took 10 photographs at a time after this we would go look at the images meaning the camera and me and lucy had moved so when putting it together it didnt run smoothly. However once we had noticed this we went back and did it again this time not moving the camera and myself and Lucy not moving meaning everything was in the same place each time. This video worked better as you can clearly see.

  1. Emily - this is progressing well. There are still some important areas where you haven't evidenced planning:

    - no storyboard
    - shot lists
    - costume and mise-en-scene plans
    - planning and research for your ancillaries.

This is about a good L3 - ensure that you cover these areas to maintain this level. Also show how you are developing your ideas in your promo - include a rough cut, get audience feedback, etc
